Between A Rock And A Hard Place

A while back I made the transition from working as a Temp to becoming Full time. The transition was hard because being hired on meant the now I am on the employer’s pay schedule of getting paid every two weeks, so I had a week that I didn’t have enough money for food.

Now I knew before hand that I was going to be hired on, but I did not stop to think that I would need to prepare for the transition. So I had to go a while without food. I work for a living so I don’t qualify for Foodstamps. I had to find a way out of the mess myself. I took a draw on my paycheck from my employer to make up the difference. The money I took out was paid back before I got my paycheck. There was no free ride.

My point is that we all have consequences for our choices; however, there are those who seek to use the government as a safety net so they don’t have to feel those consequences because the Taxpayer takes the hit.

The problem is nothing is free in life and those who choose to use the government to force others to pay there way, seem to think of the subsidies as free money. This is money that is not taxed, meaning the recipient becomes a liability that forces the cost of living to go up, because the American dollar is only backed by debt.

It is my belief that Crypto-currencies are valued the way they are because they are backed by the contempt that the working class has for the money pit we call the Welfare State. By the way hating the government is a hot commodity. At one point Bitcoin reached over $19k per coin.
