There is no room for a Democracy when your kids need a roof over head and if they had their way the money is spent on video games instead of rent. This simple concept gets over looked when election time comes around and thousands of Welfare recipients have a chance to vote. In school we get brainwashed with the idea that democracy is the most fear way for society to function. But there is an underlying problem with Democracy that has always made the social experiment fail.
Marcus Aurelius has been quoted saying, “a Democracy is only as strong as the moral fiber of the people of whom it governs.” If the mob all agree on one common objective the objective is achieved no matter who it hurts and why.
If you have been reading Anarchy Empowered for any length of time, you should already know how I feel about unions. Well let me take this opportunity to explain why I hate the idea of a union. To begin unions started with the idea of a united workforce that would destroy an economy my refusing to work.
The strike is the most powerful weapon unions have to bully the company into giving them what they want. And their is power in numbers. The problem is that power is not considered when they strike. If the International Brotherhood of Longshore and Warehouse workers strikes the local economy gets hurt and people loose jobs who are not in the Union.
In the meantime they don’t care because they are not effected because the Union is paying them to strike. This irresponsible use of power is exactly why Democracy can never work for long. In the meantime I have a job interview. We will talk later.
OK, I am back. So you may have figured out that the world view of a Gypsy is completely different from the norm. A Gypsy finds no value government that ignores the basic value of the rights of the individual. Freedom is sacred and the more regulating any government does the more freedom the individual looses.
